Caring for a terminally ill child at home can place extraordinary stress on a family unit. The Layla's Trust Home Assistant Grant aims to alleviate some of the stresses of practical situations that can arrive with being a principal care-giver of a terminally ill child.

Home Assistance Grants is a financial contribution tailored to a families needs for items such as:

• House Keeper | to help maintain a healthy and clean environment in the home so families can concentrate on spending more quality time together.

• Additional Nursery Sessions | for siblings of terminally ill children or the child themselves, when sessions are not financially attainable or available via the normal channels.

• Home Equipment Grant | that will enhance the quality of life of a terminally ill child through gifting the family with life improving equipment that is not available through the normal protocols via the local health authorities.
